Hey anybody have an answer for me? I'd like to Mod my old Cooey 22.lr Semi-Auto, and was wondering if anyone could tell where I could find parts that would work. I want to mod it to look like a "scary"(lol) "Assault Rifle".... any body know anything? I can't seem to find anything on the web yet... still looking, but in the meantime... help please?

Thanks!

You probably won't find anything to modify a cooey. Your best bet would be to start off with a 10/22 and go from there. There just isn't an aftermarket for the cooey's that offer what you're looking for.

Not much out there for Cooeys, ive got one. Like the post above get a Ruger 10/22 and the skys the limit. Or pick up a Savage FV-SR and half the work is already done, bull barrel and tactical bolt already there plus its got the Accutrigger. I just got my bipod yesterday, new stock has also been ordered.

Gagnon Sports in Oshawa has a used Tactacool stock for a Savage 64. Or at least that's what the sales guy told me it fit. They were asking $89 for it.

Scott....

I can't find the thread...A few years ago one of our own members posted some sassy pics of a 64 in an aluminum stock. Like any "re-done" 64, it was entirely custom work. I'm unaware of any of the dress-up mods for a 64 being from a factory.

I adore the 64's. If you really want to dress up a .22 with factory aftermarket bits, the 10/22 is certainly the .22 of choice. I no longer tolerate 'em on the premises, but certainly can't deny they are great for dressing.
