I've wanted a CZ for quite a while and finally took the plunge. I found a used but excellent duo tone CZ 75B. I have absolutely NO regrets. Ergonomics are unbelievable and it points well - very accurate and lower recoil than expected. I was first advised to get a Shadow or Shadow 2, but I can't imagine that they'd be any better (for me) than the 75B. I can't say enough good about it - LOVE it.

The triggers on Shadow (1 or 2) is better because there's no block. Sight is fiber optic, which I personnaly prefer, but that might not be your case. Shadows are a bit heavier which tame the recoil a bit.

New shadow 1 on sale for 780$. Not sure how much you paid for that 75B, but it definitely looks in good condition.

CZ's outstanding design, the SP01 Shadow set the bar for 9mm autos & accuracy for a very fair price. The Shadow2 improvements made that auto even better.
I think the Shadow2 is a better design than the still venerable JMB 1911.

Brave man making that statement about jmb's finest...lol.....and I'm a huge Cz fanboy..

Great buy! Recently got my first CZ in 9mm as well. Now I’m shopping for a 97B, and then I’ll be looking for a Tac Sport orange in .40

Welcome to the rabbit hole!

I have a CZ P-09 and love it. I originally wanted the CZ75BD but then decided Id like a lighter weight pistol. I just remember researching the pistol before buying it and looked at Nutnfancy's review. At the very start he says, "If you're thinking about buying this gun, then stop the review and go buy it. Enough said its that good."

Where would this be?

Congrats...not a CZ guy myself but I know and appreciate their reliability. I shoot IDPA and not having a decocker always made me worry about having an AD and getting DQ'd...LOL

A "Pre B" CZ75 was my first centrefire semi-auto back in the mid-1980s, and more recently I've owned an SP01 and a Shadow. They're comfortable, accurate, good looking, reliable, fun-to-shoot handguns (and reasonably priced, too). Those grips are quite stylish, too—are they VZs?

I picked up this Pre B last year for nostalgia's sake. The old sights are small, but it's still a pleasure to shoot.
