Wanted a CZ for a long time...

A "Pre B" CZ75 was my first centrefire semi-auto back in the mid-1980s, and more recently I've owned an SP01 and a Shadow. They're comfortable, accurate, good looking, reliable, fun-to-shoot handguns (and reasonably priced, too). Those grips are quite stylish, too—are they VZs?

I picked up this Pre B last year for nostalgia's sake. The old sights are small, but it's still a pleasure to shoot.

Yes, VZs

Love my shadow....would like anther cz97b...miss it ...but truly miss my pre-b...hell...I want the whole line up....lol

That is cheaper than the one I saw for $ 1500 from a dealer near TO. 6 years ago, a shooter from our club sold his Pre-B for $250 with 4 mags. I saw his ad few mins after it was posted on the Club Bulletin Board. As I was about to ask him, another member sealed the deal. It did not last more than 5 mins. It was near new condition, less than 250 rds and almost no wear at all. Best trigger out of the box. The only not so good point is the dreaded hammer bite. Still on my bucket list though.

There's a mint one....for $1200. Hahaha

My first handgun was a CZ 75B. Best combination or accuracy, price, and ergonomics at the time. Put over 4000 rounds through it and it’ll pretty much eat anything. After three years of shooting IPSC my pistol shooting skills are finally to the point where a better gun will make a difference so I’m going to be getting a Shadow 2 and a Grand Power X-Calibur (not sure which one to get first but I want both). There’ll always be a special place in my heart and gun safe for the good old 75B though. <3
