Never mind the spelling...

Here is what you are being told:

-Don't go around telling people you are looking for a "Converted M14 battle rifle" ...you aren't. See Sunrays post on this.
-You cant post a request to purchase a rifle in the battle rifle forums
-Such a request belongs in the EE
-You will need moderator permission to access the EE
-The site is moderated by volunteers who are as generous with their time as possible and you will have to wait until a mod has time to give you permission
-Don't complain about the site and its procedures after you ignored them entirely.

Here is what I am telling you...

This site/forum is a tremendously valuable resource and has some very dedicated, friendly and helpful people on it...Don't come on here and tell a member with thousands of posts how to spell when you cant even figure out where to post or what kind of rifle you are looking to buy. If you had taken half an hour to read through the forums you would have had no trouble at all.

Thanks tips!! I agree, this site/forum is a tremendously valuable resource and has some very dedicated, friendly and helpful people on it... However, regardless of the amount of posts someone has, I will respond as I see fit

HA! OK! good luck buddy! I sure hope whomever you try to buy a rifle from takes a look at your posting history...
 
There are many people for whom English is not their first language on this forum. What is meant and what is said may differ greatly by the time it gets to the post.
M-14 is a generic but erroneous term for like rifles such as the Norinco M-305 or Springfield M-1A. Just like I here guys in my own unit say "clip" instead of magazine because they think it sounds cool maybe.
To be always on the defensive and thinking a new member is trying to "catch out" this forum or it's members may be a bit hasty at best or paranoid at worst.
Perhaps it would be better to give new members the benefit of the doubt first.
