What powder are you using? I've had outstanding luck with that cartridge/bullet/H1000 combo. Chronographs at 2850 fps out of a 24" tube, no pressure signs and 1" accuracy.

i assume you are hand loading your amunition what kind of loads have you found that work if you dont mind spilling your secrets to an amature. archer needing meet and animals are scares around here now. so im breaking down buying a gun Thanks Jon

These things show up cheap all the time when you're not looking for one. Like the .300 WSM I found today with Limbsaver pad, Warne rings and cheap Bushnell scope that I found today in like new condition. Did I need it? No. Did I want it? Not really. Did I buy it? Sure. Now to decide what to do with 5 .300s.
