I am relatively new at the game of skeet and would like to buy a decent over and under Browning. Just looking for any suggestions or ideas. I am reading a lot about the new 725's and the Cynergy's. A good used gun would be an option too. I would ask for some suggestions and comments on what to buy and where to get it. Thanks

I just picked up a one year old Beretta 686e Sporting 12ga. Seems like a nice gun. I shot it for my lesson last weekend. It is with a gun smith who is changing the stock to an adjustable comb.

I've shot a Cynergy borrowed from my instructor before and the Beretta felt like a better gun to me. Not sure I can say why.

Shoulder the guns you are interested in. If you are new, I would strongly recommend taking lessons or getting someone who understands shotgun fit check the guns out with you. If possible shoot them. Join a club and see if anyone there is selling a gun.

I shouldered the 725 and it seems like a nice gun also.

Not sure where you are located but around the GTA, Uxbridge Shooting Sports is a GREAT club for clays and the manager Doug Baker is an awesome instructor.

How good are you looking for. I order or purchase almost everything from Duncan Crawford in Covehead on the other side of Charlottetown and he's been great across the board. He's located at Maritime mosquito/Danny Clark taxidermy. I have to mention him cause he's been so great and I can be very high maintenance and I've gotten several Browning's from him and a couple in o/u. But in your region you may want to check out Green Diamond John Deere. I stopped in there to check it out recently and they had a nice Beretta o/u and a so nice Benelli Vinci Super Sport auto. The tags matched the guns mind you. It just depends on what your looking for. If not you may want to try Duncan. I've not ordered something and been disappointed to be 100% honest. p.s. you may want to check out the Charlottetown Trap And Skeet Club if you haven't already. www.charlottetowntrapandskeet.com its a great place to go

Thanks necktiemcgee. A few shooting buddies of mine from the Bedeque area also mentioned that particular spot. I may head there some day soon. You know of any website or contact information ?
Thanks
