Just saw this ad on Kijiji. Since there's lots of Alberta gun nutz on here I thought I'd post the link.

Here's what the new ad says;

"Thanks for all of the replies....there have been too many to reply to each individually.
Yes, Fish and Wildlife have been contacted and have been here multiple times. There is currently a large trap set up in the area of the killed horse, not sure what we are going to catch but I hope the coyotes stay out of it.
Anyways, we are not 100% sure it was the cougar this time (there was not much left of her to tell), but she was definately killed by something judging by the scene and the marks that were found. One of the others was a confirmed kill and the other, they couldnt tell for sure either but she had defininate claw marks down her rear as well.

Anyways, we are hoping to try to call it or what ever it is in this weekend with a predator call and yes, fish and wild life are aware. It is legal to kill these animals if they are on your own land.

If you are an expereinced outdoorsmen and good with a gun and are available Saturday, drop us an email as we would really like to stop these attacks once and for all. We have lived here 5 yrs and never had a problem befoore this last couple of months.

Please no hate mail as we are animal lovers too, but just have no other choice but to protect our home, little kids and other animals.

Thanks"

Kill

More likely a bear. Maybe one of the "500 Grizz left in Alberta". We saw three Grizzley's when Elk hunting just west of GP in September. Saw one run off with my discarded elk hide.
