Hello everyone , I'm wanting to buy a dominion arms mag fed grizzly with the 12.5 inch barrel and put the s&j hardware stock on it. Does any one have any reasons I should not buy this gun. I would like to here your reviews on it before I purchase it.
Thanks.

Don't listen to Kewl. That's far from the truth. They are excellent shotguns for the price, and reliable. I will say this though, when using 3" shells they have been known to have feeding issues with the mag fed version. Stick to 2 3/4" shells in the mag and there should be no issues.
Far from the truth... Then you go on to say they're unreliable. Lmfao.

where do you buy korean mags for them? only seen dominion and norinco brand

some are finicky, some are good. mags and rough edges are usually to blame

I expected my 8.5" to have problems but aside from some roughness when cycling (which never interfered with operation and is smoothing out with use) I haven't had any problems. I noticed the two "aftermarket" mags I bought don't lock in on a closed bolt where as the factory mag will.

I have bought a lot of Norinco products over the years and will continue to buy more. Some of their products are of surprising quality for the money and can't be beat for value IMO.

I have had a Norinco mag feed for a few years now, very reliable. Only issue I had was with aftermarket DA mags. The lips interfered with the bolt lock, once i bent them in 1/16 of and inch all is good.

I thought I had a dud with some feeding issues the first time out. Turns out a break in period was all that was needed.

Shoots great and haven't had any issues since. Love it!

I have the 15" with the heat shield . absolutely NO issues. Although I honed the chamber when I got it home.I had read there was micro groves in the chamber from factory reaming and once fired the brass from the shot shell would flow into the groves a bit.Lot of people thinking extractor issues but it was just a polish job needed.

I love how guys say, it's super reliable all I had to do was this... Or, it's super reliable the only issue I've had was this.. That's not anything I would trust my life to. As I said, range toy only.

Well, I have one and I've never had a single problem of any sort with it. Target load, slugs (2 3/4" and 3"), even homemade slugs, not a single hiccup. The thing is a tank. The only downside is that it weighs about as much as one

They are very reliable and great deal, no problems with mine over 800 rounds through it, mixed slugs, target loads, turkey loads, no problem, and the after market mags are perfectly fine, and work well.

So my mini14 is unreliable because it doesn't like some aftermarket mags or some cheap ammo? I don't think that you understand the word unreliable. If I use good ammo and decent mags it is reliable as heck. From reading the posts that you quoted I don't get unreliable.

I have the Norinco branded 14.5 inch mag fed version here. I have only put around 60 shells though it when I up north for the summer, but I only had one feeding problem, and that was from me not giving it a solid enough rack. Other than that it shot flawlessly the whole time. I only used 2 3/4 inch shells mind you, since that's what my barrel said under the heat shield.

I have one on the way. And from my research, go or it.

Ps. My Remington 870P and wingmaster have also had a failure to feed in their time too. (Mostly due to crappy ammo)

Buy it, try it, and if you want to hunt, then decide if it is reliable for you.

Exactly. Kewl just isn't getting it. Sounds like he had a bad experience with one...

It sounds like your mini 14 is unreliable. Mine has never missed a beat, the two DA magfeds I've owned are another story.

These things are the very definition of unreliable.

Again, fun for the range but not something I'd use for anything important.
