Looking for at least 16x and FFP.
Seems like the Vortex PST is the only one in the $1000 to $1500 price range, any other options I should consider that are FFP and under $1500?

Many Thanks,

I've been really happy with my 6-25 SFP vortex PST and just acquired a PST 2.5-10 FFP and it seems like it'll fit the bill just fine.
I can't for see you having any problems.

Bushnell LRHS, it's max 12 power but very clear.

Just bought one of these and love it. Very well designed optic. The G2 reticle is one of the best reticles around. This sits 300 wsm. I also have the Bushnell DMR G2 3.5-21x50, they are FFP and if you look you could buy a used one for under $1500, these are in the top 3 prefered scopes of the the PRS crowd down south. Amazing value.

I have the 21x and I agree fully.

My shooting buddy says he's had a bushie let him down, but I've not heard of any others. A 1500$ XRS/ERS is a steal, whereas 1500$ gets you a brand new FFP Vortex PST, but with all the reports of failures.....

I'm glad I grabbed my two bushnells on the 30-40% off sale at WSS. I just wish they were MOA.

If you're willing to go a little higher than $1500 I highly recommend the Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1, it's a FFP with either MOA or Mil-R reticle with matched turrets and settable zero. I have one working quite nicely on my FNAR.

The Bushnell DMR will be a few hundred $ north of $1500 new, if and when stock comes back in, which isn't until Sept from what I've heard. (I've been shopping for a new scope, similar budget to you) You can find a Burris XTR II 5-25 for $1650ish and the Nightforce SHV goes for $1650ish as well (which is what I ordered). Another option is the Sightron S3 FFP which is just a hair under $1500.

Really anything man made is prone to failure..some products much more then others. Bushnell offers the same "no fault warranty" for life just as Vortex. I also scooped up my Bushnells at 40% off at WSS...and this was before the CND dollar tanked.

So further to this. Whats the difference between the the Bushnell 3.5-21x Models. I see there is a #ET35215G and a GZ. $700 dollars difference and all I can see is the zero stop feature. Or am I missing something??

Good question. Looks like you're right. The HDMR has the horus reticles, the DMR vs. ERS looks like its just the z-stop that's the difference. Not sure how that justifies 700$.....????
