Hello all, I have two sks rifles, both tula, and one I have a magwedge rail on, an ati stock and was thinking of using the Tapco mags, and noticed a few modified thier bolt, the drop mag mod, anyone do this, and also is there anything I should not do, I have a laminated stock one I'm not touching lol, I'm looking at the recoil buffers for both and Tue ati stock one a bipod

I've done the drop free bolt. It's really quite nice. I've also performed the spent case side ejection cutout. Works well. The only thing to not do is shorten the barrel less than 18.6" because then it becomes a restricted firearm.

I have the magwedge rail so I'm good with the ejections, I just need to get a new pin the hex key they sent stripped the bolt, I think I'm going to blue all my parts again, the rifle I'm thinking of is a 1954r Tula chrome lined mint bore, same as my other, but a bit of rust has built up, not enough oiling on it

Ok, I was not thinking of shortening it, that drop made modification I was wondering if that was illegal in Canada and also I was thinking about the recoil buffers I already have a ATI Strikeforce stock on it and a magwedge rail

I have a recoil buffer, no noticeable difference. I also have the firing pin spring, trigger springs, mojo peep sight and extended mag release. I am pleased with them all.
