The Model 52 is a large brass frame flare pistol in 37 mm bore diameter with heavy brass frame and a steel barrel.

Found similar unit on a website from the US.

Hope the photos worked okay,

They are asking $350US
However I cannot vouch that it is really worth that much.
And considering the item is still for sale

"FLARE PISTOL - "INTERNATIONAL"

For history buffs, John F. Kennedy fans, and collectors. The "International" is one of the best known World War II flare pistols. One just like this was seen in "PT 109," the film about JFK's war heroism. Weighs an impressive 4.25 lbs. and measures 10.5" long x 8.75". Polished brass with a steel barrel, clearly marked on both sides of the hand grip with "International Flare Signal Co., Tippecanoe City, Ohio.""

Another good link, asking 400+ but with original box + manual
