Warne Maxima QD rings for Tikka T3

Hey guys, I have a Vortex 4-16x50 FFP that I would like to mount onto a Tikka T3 Stainless lite that I will be getting and came across these Warne Quick Detach Maxima rings. From what I gather, these should mount onto the receiver without the use of a separate base. My question is; what size will give me the lowest clearance for the barrel, medium or high? I would also like to know what you think of these rings if you have tried them. Thanks for your help.

I have tried those on the T3 - they work great! I would think Mediums would give you more than enough room. I havent seen a low yet in the Warne on the shelves around here.
All my Tikkas have the Warne or the DNZ Game Reapers, I originally went with Weaver bases and (pick brand) standard rings..also tried Optilocks. The issue I had with these was that they sat the scope quite high, even with the lowest mounts offered... and more screws to worry about coming loose.
 
Correct. They clamp onto the receiver. There is a large pin on one mount that goes in the front corresponding slot - push it forward, tighten clamp down! No prob on 300wsm so far.
