Warne ring height question

I have a Mauser action BRNO 602. I have it scoped with a Leupold 1.5x5x20mm in Warne Maxima QD extra high rings.

As you can see they are far too high. Should I replace them with medium or high Warne QD Maxima rings.

The mediums QDs will work. I've had up to 40mm objectives on a couple different 550 Magnums, which is the same thing as far as the rings are concerned. The permanent rings are even lower and they work too. Pain in the butt though.
The closest clearance will be the occular bell.

Slightly off the subject, but have you ever seen one of the Brno/Zeiss factory setups for the Magnum action? There is a rail built right into the scope. I saw one in Zimbabwe and I believe Back40sniper had one as well. It's a real slick set-up, and is worth many "way cool points".

Nice rifle. I have a 602 action at Beven King's getting a stainless 22" bbl in 375Mag.

What is the bbl of yours? Weight as shown?

Did you guys have to lap your rings? My Warne Mediums for my Sako are a TIGHT fit on my Elite 3200, and are a PITA to setup. I'll try them on my VXII when it gets in but Im assuming I'll get similar results...:confused:.
