WARNING SKS prices will go up in 2017

249 is still a good price right now. Sks prices are going to be around 350 mark by the end of this year.

You have not much credibility with a 100 $ price bump ( 50 % ) in less than 4 months , I wiling to put a 100$ that's not come truth.

Maybe YOU will decide to sell it for 350 !!! that' s not suprise me at all...but still affordable everywhere else.

NO FEAR here.......

Fairly recent Photos of the Ukrainian nationalists show plenty of sks's in use with the paramilitarys and on the front line
Could be they aren't considered surplus any longer
Interestingly enough the sks's are kept stock, ak's show signs of aftermarket tapco and accessory rail crap.

Was at Canadian Tire in Gravenhurst yesterday!!!!!

YIKESSSS!!! There is no doubt prices have been going up in recent years and quality has gone down. What did everyone think was going to happen?

This is crazy. there sks are painted last time I checked.

Wow, nobody is buying them,,, are they! Laminate here are $229-$239.!
It's "cottage country". Somebody will buy it. I had to look at the price twice on the laminate, couldn't believe my eyes. Just happy I got in before the buzzer on the SVT 40's and soon to be SKS prices ;)

I wish I would have got a SVT 40 before the price got stupid. Probably wouldn't have shot it much but it would have been cool to have

this is at Canadian tire and it looks like sale price.
It is a sale price regular price is $393. Gonna be a hard sell when they have 10/22s for around the same price with higher magazine capacity and cheaper ammo plus they're brand new. I was in Canadian tire yesterday and there was a guy contemplating a $199 sks or a $399 10/22 but he left with nothing. The selling point of the sks was the cheap price

True... I don't think they will ever move at $393.99 which seems to be the new Canadian Tire price... everyone who wants one already has one, or two, or three... new shooters will latch onto something else.

Haha, $400, wow.

In MB they're going for $240-280, the high side being the laminate version, mind you thats bbq painted.
Can't Imagine paying $400 for an SKS, but I'm sure others have said the same about surplus firearms in the past. Seems crazy but it could happen if buying habits keep up
