Warning: this is NOT sheep country

great pics did yas get a chance to spot anything that might be shootable

No I must "sheepishly" admit ;) It has been pretty hot and the game is bedded down in the thick timber. We were also pretty busy around camp getting corrals back up, fire wood gathered and cut. It takes a couple of trips in to get camp prepared. We didn't do very much glassing, but it was better than staying home and sweating your balls off :D

great pics, almost as nice as the pictures of deer hunting in Ontario!

You think that picture is bright, you should take a drive when the shotgun season for deer is open in Southern Ontario, it looks like construction going on. But then again we have all those brain dead politians in TO.

Why do I have to be stuck in Ottawa...all politicians and BS, and none of that!!

Awesome pics. Thanks for posting.

Head West young man.....sounding good right about now!

I changed the third picture in the first post, it was basically a duplicate of the first one. That 3rd shot is Mount *&%$# - that would be giving up a huntin' spot, we call it "the wall". To give you an idea of the country, here is my compadre riding behind me. The trail we're on is not more than 12" wide, check out the slopes on either side. A quarter mile behind us is the true test of a good mountain horse, that trail is 1 mile long, same width but across rocks.

Like Dave says, the West if already full, of dumb hicks like us.

We are full out west, no more room. Sorry.

Hey,

I've been a Calgary Flames fan since about age 10 (I'm now 33), I drive a Jeep, listen to country music, lived 2 years in Texas, and I'm not from Ottawa, but rather Nova Scotia...does that help my situation any??

P.S. There's nothing hotter than a pretty chick in a cowboy hat, a tight pair of jeans, and my Jeep (or her truck...)

I kinda feel a bit out of sorts in ROTTAWA I guess you could say...sigh. :(

Man I had to turn some of my monitor settings down, that Ontario picture is bright. :D

Well boys, its either wear orange and hunt deer/moose, or stay home.... I think I'll wear the orange.

I think the orange cap would suffice, but do as you are told, or pay the fine...;)

Nope, we are full, no exceptions :D

You are almost there.....You should have said "There's nothing hotter than a pretty chick with her cowboy hat and tight jeans on the floor"

Keep practicing. But you're damn close;)
