Warped .303 cases

has anybody done a test of one of these lose chambered rifles. Same ammo, with and without o-rings and actually measured the runout. It may put a rest to the "reamed off center" story.

I read that the case would be pushed forward, with the firing pin. The case expands at the front "thinner area" first, and the case then stretches to contact the bolt face unevenly due to manufacturing tolerances, until the case head is supported by the bolt. I had a rifle like this, and the primer would back out due to being non supported, so a banana case withprimer out .015" or so. Long gone so I can't experiment on it

this is a great read
