Warranty work at 4scopes.com

Oh, sorry I guess I wasn't clear. I haven't yet purchased from them. I was more inquiring as to people's experience dealing with warranty issues through 4scopes.com.

Thanks,
Cal.

I haven't had a warranty issue to date, but I did buy a scope that I found wasn't as suitable for it's purpose as I thought it would be. I was happy that they took it back (I don't think they were obliged to do so as there was nothing wrong with the scope). I did pay a small restock fee, and got another scope in it's place. Things worked out.

^^That's good to hear. As I understand it the US warrenty centers will only accept scopes sold in the US, just as the Canadian warranty centers will only accept scopes that were imported by the official distributor. This leads me to conclude that the warranty on scopes purchased through 4scopes.com is only good as long as 4scopes.com is still in business.

Hmm...food for thought.

Thanks,
Cal.

4scopes.com doesn't do warranty work. A deffective scope will have to be sent to the warranty depot for that particular scope brand. Canadian warranty centres will not fix a scope that was purchased in the U.S. A scope purchased in the U.S. will have to be sent to the U.S. warranty centre, there is a lot of red tape involved in doing so.

I had a little problem with a Sightron I bought from them. When I called and talked to them, they told me to mail it back and they'd replace it. I had my new scope in 4 days.
