Send it in. I have seen Korth fix stuff that obviously wasn't warranty at no charge.

I had a chip out of one of the lenses on one of my Leupolds. Sent it in with a note saying that I was willing to pay to have it replaced A week later it came back rebuilt and with a new lens, no charge.
Not saying they will do it for free, but it is worth sending it in and see what happens.

Bushnell I believe does have a lifetime warranty and is tyring to catch up to leupold.
OP, send it in to Korth, tell them you are willing to pay for the new lens and they will overhaul the whole scope you will get a scope you are happy with and likely for less money than a new one. Who knows they may fix it for free, in any case send it in, its no good to you scratched, it will be too much of a distraction.
