yes they are as they are at the upper limit of an L3a plate. some L3a is not rated for 44 mag only " up to" 44 mag
this is an attempt to make it cheaper, we went with this spec as it will stop OO buck shot at 15 Meters
also it is anti stab due to the blend of fibers and that it is 28 layers of fiber. not 16 like many L3a plates

we have out soft armor annd we have our ultra light weight L3+ plates
The Ultra light are $800, but they are 1 inch thick, as they are Dynema, PE, UHMW blend
but they are only 1.7kgs each
these are not made by us, they are made for us but a large OEM i use to work for, out of south africa, the a the largest OEM for body armor in the world.
same plates ell in canada under another brande for $1500cdn

The low profile concealment carriers have a velcro panel on front. To arrange mag pouches. Or a molly panel for pouches
