Wartak SKAR chassis

just seen a picture posted by urban tactical about a new chassis being put out by wartak .....anybody have anymore info they are advertising completed rifles for sale but i was wondering if the chassis itself is for sale aswell? check it out guys it looks like the nicest but also most expensive stock replacement system yet

It is definitely one of the coolest looking chassis systems for the SKS that I have yet to see. T & T Arms taking pre-orders with 25% deposit _ - NO HOT LINKING NON SPONSORS - . Is the chassis and refurb sks istalled within it worth the current list price? It will be up to the market to decide.

im guessing you do the bolt mod so the mags can be inserted with a closed bolt......most people are able to do all these things i would only be interested if was sold without the rifle.....many people have sks's laying around and probly dont need another one

So how much is it?

Go to the link in the first post. If I read it correctly, it think it is about $750 with non-refurbished, chrome-lined SKS installed. Please correct if I'm wrong.
Looks good and a nice way to modernize the original hardware. This looks like a winning solution for optics mounting/zeroing issues and also making it a removeable mag fed unit.
Nice work guys.

Looks good so far.
But if I may make a suggestion;

Remove the front sight and bayonet lug. And then add a barrel shroud.

Another suggestion;

Since you are already adding in a custom magwell;

You should probably make it compatible with XCR Pistol magazines.

Way too many rails for my taste. Nice to see another option for those that are into that sort of thing, though.

HI , that going slowly but maybe next week we should have an altered version from a 3d printer to check the quote and the fitting and the ejection port , probably a functioning one

And those of you who'd like to do away with the bayonet and front sight, we have something in the works for a replacement, there's two pins that you need to punch out and the original shroud slides right off.

Yeah, I removed mine pretty easily. Then I made up a barrel shroud for it (like the JR-Carbine shrouds).

It looks pretty cool. But it would look even cooler on your set-up.
