...so I figured I better get a K31 too ;)

1938, has the owner tag. Got it from TradeEx.

Not sure if I have a walnut stock or not, it's dated '38 under the butt plate. From what I've read it should be walnut with that date stamp.

Rough stock, mint bore. Haven't shot it.

Very nice. I need to get mine out of the safe and fool around with the diopter sight a bit. It's probably the most accurate rifle I've ever shot with open sights, though I don't have a Swedish Mauser yet....

Good choice, you won't regret it! My 1942 from Tradex shoots like a laser, most accurate Milsurp that I own.
BTW, yours is walnut stocked, beech looks very different.

That's an interesting rifle, would like to handle one up close. How hard is the ammo to find for it, anyone have an idea?

My friend just bought 480 rnds for $360, FMJ? Surplus I think, he bought a similar looking rifle with bayonet for $300 with bayonet, beech wood from 1947, excellent condition other then lots of little dings in the wood, he bought it in calary from one of the site vendors. Slick rifle and apparently accurate, a bit heavy though.

Tradeex has the GP11 match stuff in stock I think. Nice non-corrosive accurate stuff, but not really reloadable unless you want to get into the "other" primer system.
