Hey folks, I recently bought this FN Herstal Mauser 98 in 30-06 and sporting stock from a fine gunnutter. It was in excellent shape, except for the remnants of a scope mount and shot ok. Funny thing was, it had the classic lines of the K98 Mausers of WWII - receiver, bolt, blind mag, K98 front sight...right down to the stepped barrel. So...I bought a K98 stock from Tradex and mounted it. Here is how my project finished.
Then figured, what the hell...let`s go shoot it some more! This is what make`s it spectacular. 300 yards, core lok remmy 150 gr - with those dear open sights...check it out...
