There will be a 1000yds LR championship on June 17 and 18 at the Rattlesnake Range near Richland, WA. This is a Sanctioned NRA match so can qualify for records if set.

Must be a member of a provincial association affiliated with the DCRA or a state club affiliated with the NRA

Entry fees for 2 days is $50 US... competitors will pull targets.

NRA LR and LRFC targets will be used. There will be a Black Powder class, and several NRA high power classes including Service Rifle, Any Rifle, NRA match rifle, US Palma, NRA any sight match/tactical rifle and F class - FTR and F Open.

[The event is open to pretty much any rifle that goes bang and a great opportunity to compete and/or test with all shots at 1000yds. There were several PRS type shooters at the Palma Championships... they will work with shooter using muzzle brakes.]

June 17 will be 3 relays with the first unlimited sighters then 20 for score in 30 minutes. The next 2 will have 2 sighters then 20 for score.

June 18 will be 2 relays with the first unlimited sighters then 20 for score in 30 minutes. The last relay has 2 sighters then 20 for score.

Sighters will not be convertible.

Great guys and gals. Very challenging range. Very well run match. There is a cap for entries and given the interest for practise towards the Worlds, things could fill up fast.

PM or email and I can send you the match director contact info and event info.

Should mention that there is a practice on Friday, 16 June – 0800 sign up; Practice at 300,600 and 1000 yds. There will be a fair number of Canadians from F-class and TR community competing at this event. Will be a very fun match.

Results from the Washington LR match over the weekend. Shout out to Greg D who rocked his first time at the 'Snake with a 2nd in F open. Some very solid shooting. All the best at the Worlds in August.... go Team Canada.

308BAR had a great showing and really improved over Saturday.

Winds started from the get go... tailwinds switching 4 to 6 minutes between shoots. Some very big let offs and pick ups. It was a lot of fun to keep up.

Next match is mid July...
