Wasp/Hornet nest

has any of you fellas actually used wasp or hornet nest in the BP guns?
i read about it a few years ago, and have been trying it in a Snider. seems to work good.
just wondering if anyone ellse has any actual experiance with it.

I read about it too,I'm curious to see how it works or if there is any adavantages/disadvantages.

I've tried a bit between the powder and patch. It seems to help protect the patch from burning through. Using good patching material and (TC) lube however, I've avoided any damage to the patch, so the hornet nest material is redundant.

It's waterproof, so if you are hunting, thenyou don't have to worry about a wet patch soaking into the powder.
