Waste water from cleaning brass

Hi guys.

Just interested to know what you do with the waste water from cleaning reloading brass.
Foreseeably it contains lead. How do you dispose of this. Previously I never gave this any though and would pour it down the drain, but I somehow feel more socially responsible since living in the land of beaver and maple syrup.

I pour it down the drain. Calgary consistently scores at or near the top for the quality of wastewater treatment so doing anything else with it would be far worse.

Victoria doesn't treat anything.... Vancouver treats about 60% once, rest gets flushed straight into false creek, burrard inlet etc. etc.

You could send a sample in for testing to determine if it's within acceptable waste guidelines or just pour it down the drain like I do.
