Need some help finding out what Provinces Non-resident waterfowlers need a guide and what the regs are, how many can you guide, can you carry a gun, can you shoot? Thanking you in advance for your help.
 
In NB,ALL non-res hunters require a guide.A Guide 1(professional guide)can guide up to 3 clients for a fee/reward but cannot hunt himself.Guide 2(licence to accompany)can only guide one non-res,not for fee/reward,and is also allowed to hunt.
 
is it the "finding a guide" thing you're worried about. I'm writing my guide II test very soon, and since all my hunting buddies packed up and left the province it's been pretty lonely walking those trails.
 
Would like to get info from the other Provinces and Territories.I'm working on a project for the guides and outfitters here in PEI.
 
I know the value of having a guide especially when you are not from that location but I get miffed when I'm required to pay someone for services I don't want or need. I also like to explore a place on my own. Oh well I guess I'll be going out west instead.
