How much do waterfowl guides get paid?

I know at some of the camps here in NB charge about 150-200 a day but that includes accomadations for the night aswell

I charged $400/day for two shooters and included lunch and bird dressing... but these were big water boat hunts, higher overhead with fuel, travel and gear... that was also a few years back.

Not sure if it's different elsewhere but here guides will work under an outfitter's operation, and guide rates vary from $100 a day (local flatland hunts) to $300 a day (mountain hunts). Waterfowl may be its own sphere entirely, but that's the BC picture.

If you are asking how much a guide is paid as opposed to outfitter rates not nearly enough for the hours they have to put in. One outfitter here is advertising looking for guides at $13/hr and wants them to be goose/duck calling champions plus expects them to pitch in on harvesting operations on his farm leases. I know what I would tell him...
