Before you start, I'm not after your hunting spots.
My buddy and I started hunting ducks last year. We went to a small pond just outside of Calgary and had success pretty much everyone we went.
My question is; do I stick to this spot or do I venture around looking for somewhere better?
I'm the kinda guy that always wonders what's over the next ridge when I'm hunting big game, so naturally I'm getting restless at this one spot.
Is it worth going to larger bodies of water? Venturing further east? Hunting private land (with permission)?
For context we have a make shift blind, 2 dozens floating mallards, 1 spinner, waders and couple of cheap calls.
As always, any advice is appreciated
