Waterfowl pigeon river

Is hunting permitted on pigeon river I see duck blinds all along Emily provincial park. The park is closed and cottages are only too one Side. I hear shotguns most of those months witch I love. I just want too know if I’m good too go
 
I checked the hunting regs for you.....hunting is not permitted in Emily Provincial park ( there is an extensive list of Provincial parks that do allow hunting, Emily is not one of them),.....that would extend to the river that runs through it,.......
 
Hunting is not permitted in the park but I do see hunters out their in canoe n blinds on the water, I also did check the Regs I didn’t think it would apply too the river or in the bay where my house backs out onto the river.
 
Generally there is a buffer around a provincial park, usually 300-500 meters.....I am just repeating what I was told and it makes sense....there are all kinds of people feeding ducks in the parks, it wouldn’t look good if someone sat in a canoe in a foot of water off the public beach shooting the habituated ducks....but I don’t know for sure....call the park warden, he should be happy to help...
 
Lol thank you that painted a funny picture. The park is closed when duck hunting opens which is a good thing now that u said that
