Waterfowling around Gagetown?

Anyone on here hunt waterfowl near Gagetown NB?

It looks like I will be out that way for part of the waterfowl season this year and looking for some areas close (within 1/2 hour) to the base.

Plus, having my Ontario small game license and waterfowl stamp, will that be good in NB?

You will need a New Brunswick lisence, but if you are military personel I believe there are deals to be had. The Gagetown area isn't my most familiar hunting grounds. Try and become friends with someone local and get them to show you the way around.

I duck hunt close to there. It's excellent hunting. I can't tell you where, though, because it's not my camp/spot...

OK, so I will need to get a NB small game license? Any chance they will just accept my Ontario license and grant me a "temporary" out of province one? Prolly not, eh?

But, since the "stamp" is federal, it should be good.

Glad to hear the hunting there is good though.
