Waterfowling in North Bay Ont!

Heading up to North Bay for some waterfowling tommorow night after work. Can't wait! Gonna hunt a couple small marshes sat a.m. and sun a.m Sat eve gonna hit a spot on Cache bay with the boat! Really pumped. I hope to get a couple of nice drake woodies to get mounted. Any of you fellas heading out this weekend? Good luck to anyone who's heading out!

Silly Silly question. Of course we are heading out on Sat. The geese open up again after the week closing, along with ducks opening on Sat as well. Getting pretty giddy myself. Another spot, loads of geese! :dancingbanana:
 
Not this weekend, but was out last Saturday. Got our limit of ducks and a couple of geese. We had rain, freezing rain and snow. Just perfect duck hunting weather. At one point we had ducks all around our decoys but wouldn't shoot any of them. We were waiting for three lonely geese to get a little closer. Nailed a couple of them. An awesome hunt....

I will be in a field about 2km from the boat launch @ cache bay tonight and tommorow morning. There havent been to many ducks around but the geese are starting to thicken. (I got a limit on Wednesday night) To bad a guy cant shoot the cranes because there are a zillion of them hanging around.

Just got back! Not many Ducks. Saw a lot but not many would come close though! Ended up with a dozen. But it doesn't matter though. I had a fantastic time. I will try to get out again on sat. How did you guys do this weekend?

We did great on Saturday... I shot four geese and four woodies on the Otonabee. Toomer managed to outshoot me again and we had his four year old son in the blind with us, he is hunting with us regularly now.:cool:
Every time a Teal would go by I was loaded with Triple B's....:eek:
We had five blinds with two guys in a blind and everybody shot birds... it was a good morning.:)
