Waterfowling with Cynergy???

Mind if I ask where you made the purchase?

The EE. NIB/Unfired... turned out the fella lived a few minutes away and we belong to a couple of the same clubs, but have never crossed paths before... met in a Timmies parking lot this afternoon.

Funny how things end up working out that way. I was once on the hunt for a particular gun for years. When I finally found it on the EE, it turned out that the guy lived about 5 mins away. Go figure

Why do you care what others think,

Why are you posting on a public forum... if you own a chair and a closet, be off with you...

I don't care what others think... but I like guns and I like hunting and I enjoy dialogue with those that are like minded... and now that I own a Cynergy specifically for waterfowl, I am interested in the experiences of others sharing these common denominators...

Period...

LOL, HC, Liked that last response.

Reading this thread for the first time after seeing your post of the pic in the Pictures thread. Even though I am kinda a hard core SxS guy, I really like the way the Cynergy looks in the camo. And I hate them normally. Just be careful if you even put it down in the marsh! LOL

I have never been a fan of the Cynergy due to the goofy buttpad... I really don't like the way the pad looks when combined with Walnut... but I don't find it objectionable at all with the camo synthetic stock... I am viewing this gun as a purely functional waterfowl/turkey rig... and in those cases, the beauty is in the function... and the fact that I am not destroying the wood on one of my Lightnings. At any rate it really does feel good... proof will be in the pudding.

Just an odd question, does the cynergy have an adjustable comb or is that just a funky looking stock? It also appears as though it has an almost parallel comb...in comparison to the citori's that is.

This thread has got off track although in kinda a funny way. So it makes me think that you all should go over to the sub heading thread and think up a good sub heading for our shotgun forum.

LOL! That is a little funny!

The idea of using a camo double gun for Waterfowl/Turkey is sound. It is strictly individual preference, however, in the confines of a duck blind the O/U design may feel somewhat cumbersome in terms of loading/unloading. Last year, while looking for an approrpriate Turkey gun, I had considered the Fabarm and Browning models. Would've gone for one if either brand offered a 20ga.

I have taken turkeys with pretty guns... but I'd rather not.

Thanks...and I was agreeing with his opinion...hence why I said that there is no valid argument against his post.

Ah, understood. I took it that you were inferring there was no substance to his post, due to how it was worded (the "to" was ambiguous, but I should have clarified if unsure, and your intended meaning was the most appropriate given the context). My bad.
