Waterproofing/ scent elimination

Has anyone tried waterproofing clothing used for deer hunting with a spray on repellent? If so does this cause a problem with applying a scent eliminator spray after? or does it add a whole new scent to the clothes (rendering them useless).

try it, and when you render them useless, send them my way if they are XL.
or, do it early enough that they have time to air out. They will be fine. I believe in controlling scent as much as possible, but that is all your doing. You can't eliminate it, just minimize it somewhat. Use the wind and air out your clothes and you will be fine.
