Wayne Newtons Trap Gun is for sale

Wow, tough crowd on here!:p I like nothing more than a beautifully engraved firearm and though I must admit that this is a bit out there I think it is kind of a cool representation of how Wayne Newton lived and made his living. The other aspect is that the engravers may have wanted to do this job, I am sure they were'nt forced by some mobster to do it. This would not have been some low paying job or a job for someone unknown. It would certainly get you more higher paid work via networking when you do a job for a celeb. Sometimes these people enjoy doing stuff outside of the status quo to showcase their abilities and just to something different for a change or break. Anyways the engraving scenes are definitley reminiscent of what Vegas is and was all about, especially for the time period that this piece was done. Can't say I'd lay out 15k for it but it is different and I kind of like some of the aspects of it. The checkering on the forend is certainly something as is the "shape" of the showgirls...:D
