The good thing about any dealers who post job posting on CGN without stated salary information is they get “bump to the top” all the time by CGN crowd and therefore they get to be on the main “Dealer News” page with no effort from them.

It worked with T***a dealer as well when they posted job posting without salary.

Smart! Here is another bump! Lol

I can't believe how many whiners are on here commenting about this.

The did not post the salary, if that's a problem move on.

Their business, their choice.

If you can't sell yourself in a cover letter you are not up for a sales job.

Crazy thing about being on a discussion forum is that...people discuss. Go figure!

If a prospective sales person cannot "sell themselves at their expected salary" to their prospective employer, it gives an indication of how well they will be able to "sell the employers products" to their customers....

Just my 5 cents (2 cents plus inflation & tax....)

Reading the comments on this thread suggests that there are not many applicants with the proper qualifications for this position..

or, it's a test of your negotiation skill

If you have to "negotiate" a salary as you put it, then it seems to me, you'll land up negotiating for everything else. As far as I'm concerned, that is time wasted on everyone's part. Seems like a team that lands up playing against itself rather than playing together. If I don't know from the get go, I'm not applying. Same goes when there is something for sale. If a price isn't posted, and the ad says "please contact" I move on.

I've got a house for Sale but I'm not going to tell you the Price until I know how much the bank has pre approved you for :)

I don't see a signing bonus??? Did I miss it?
A local trucking company is offering $10,000
We've got trades people leaving for more $$ and can't attract any new ones
Some how the old saying..Money talks...

Clearly not many people on here have actual sales experience, and it shows.

This is not an hourly position. It will be a modest base salary PLUS a commission structure.

You won't be working at a gun counter waiting for customers to come in. You will be making cold calls and developing a network.
