We ever getting 14" 590-A1's again?

Word on CGN was that the shipment(s) of the 14" 590A1's that came here starting in Oct 2014, weren't supposed to. Most of us take that as they won't be coming, but there are some 14" barrel kits around.

They've been dry for about a year, who knows though.
 
I get the feeling part of the recent trend of 14" barrels (Rem) and guns (Mossberg) is due to the fact that the Police down south are more interested in patrol carbines then short shotguns and the US rules around short shot guns is hurting sales. Just a theory.

14" mossbergs still come up on the EE for less then $900 which is way better then the prices from a few years ago where they started at $1000 and up.
My advice for anyone that really wants one is to jump if you see one on the EE for around $800.00

I have a modified choke 14" 590, but I don't like Mossberg's anymore. I'm just keeping it because of its lack of current availability.
 
i was one of those that said we would never see a 14 inch barreled shotgun come from the states back when there were questions about these guns . i was wrong then so it is anyone's guess if there will be more.
 
You never know when the U.S. Companies may want to dump a lot of poor selling inventory into Canada ; but you see lots of those 14 inchers for sale used....
 
If the actual factory 14" model comes back in stock at a reasonable price... I'll buy a couple just to store. 590A1's are awesome! They're not pretty, but they're workhorses.

I don't know... was thinking about buying the 20" and the kit, have no use for the 20" barrel. Unsure what they're worth, that's why I was asking what you are paying. I probably won't buy it, don't really need another shorty shotgun (already have 2 factory 14" and one 11" shotgun).
 
Ellwood Epps was selling NIB Mossberg M590A1 OEM 14" bbl for $750.00 when they came in about a year ago....they had like 30 units in stock. Should've bought one.

I have a mint 14" er that would never let go. I had offers for 1K and even slightly more....but declined.


Just wait and keep an eye open, you'll get one eventually.
 
I have a 14" 590A1 with ghost rings i'd consider selling for what I have into it, pm me if interested,

SPF, sorry the demand is high.
