Although I never got to meet Dennis in person, I did get to chat on the phone a couple three times. Integrity, humble and very personable. He contacted me regarding getting my 9,3 Husqvarna repaired, and he did a bang up job of it. Undoing a botched repair job and it was no small feat, the stock having turned into all cracks from forearm right back to the wrist.
He also recut the checkering, although he did not have the same cutter as HVA used, he did an incredible job.
Such a nice job he did I had since been trying to get him to rework my Great Grandfathers Browning T2. Sad to hear it won't happen now.
Mike, I know I asked to post one picture of the Husky, which also happens to be the one Ted borrowed for hitting his moose with this fall. Trouble is I can't settle on just one.
In memoriam, and celebration of a CGN member, and friend to many here are a few pictures to show off Dennis' great restoration.
Prayers for you and your family Mike. Take good care.
