if they started making them again my 2 wouldn't be as special.
great little guns. I had my 22 hornet out the other day and was shooting 3 shots groups under an inch @ 50 yards. Good enough for a survival gun thats for sure.

One of the ugliest gun I have seen so far but it seems that this ''thing'' is very useful, put me out of my ignorance here, what is this? a combine rifle/shotgun made of stainless steel? just want to know.:)

Its a .410/.22 or .410/.22 hornet combo gun that folds in half. The stock also holds ammo. USAF used to keep them in all of their aircraft.

I changed my mind, I wouldn't buy two, I would probably buy four.

I've got two ( 1 in .22 Hornet, 1`in .22LR) and would probably buy a couple more. I'd love one with the 14 inch barrel.
With the hammer mounted safety and the ability to keep it uncocked until you see game, the need for the trigger guard is questionable, and early models had none. the guard only gets in the way of folding it more compactly. It is easily removable though with a little care and effort.

I would line up to buy one.

I'm already waiting for a T97 and Grizz shotty, so why not start a 3rd imaginary line :p
(all in good fun CanAm, I'm with you)

For you, lovers of that ''thing'' if it happen again that I see one (I have seen a few on racks of gun dealers in prov. of Quebec) I will tell here where and when so you can contact the seller.;)

m6 scout

I remember when CZ pulled out, it seemed to be in the middle of a production run. The local gun store in Yellowknife had at least 5 presales that were waiting for stock to arrive, as with a number of other retailers around. I was in line for a hornet in stainless, but started to get impatient, and convinced the manager to sell me the one 22 parkerized that they were using as a demo.

I do not know the story, but Springfield was plugging the pistol version, and were really advertising all scout models. Lots of orders, but no arms materialized. Springfield soon after pulled the model from their website.

Personally I would buy another 4 if they were back on the market. It is the type of arm to bring in the canoe, strap to the skidoo, leave in the car etc.
