We need a new EE, Blackpowder and Antiques

I would like to see a black powder and antique EE, as this is where my interests lie. I have declined to sell antique firearms to people when I am unsure about them, liocence or no.

I do not think it is worthwhile.

One more category is just that, one more. Dividing the list down finer and finer, does not do anything except open up more opportunities for the complainers to whinge over stuff being in the wrong category.

Looking at what is going on with the "precision and target rifle" subforum on the EE. Lots of miscategorised stuff, to no real advantage.

I see that one dissapearing on the next houscleaning, really.

Post handguns in Handguns, Rifles in Rifles, and old Mil-Surp in with the Mil-Surp, and call it a day.

If every interest group got their own EE, we'd be knee deep in choices, and the mods would be up to their necks in guys #####ing about this or that being miscategorized.

I say no. It works pretty well as it is.

I'd like a black powder only EE . Modern and old , but must be BP. ( pistol , rifle , cannon etc )
just my 2cents.....

X2, much easier to look through a couple of pages, rather than 15-20

I definitely prefer the new blackpowder section. I find I don't waste a pile of time checking out the other sections for stuff that might fit my interests. If something interests me and I want to go back and think about it some more, I can find it because it is not 2 pages back.

I love the new EE saves me alot of time looking at thing I just don't care about and I'm sure it will fill up with lots of good things.

So, the blackpowder and antiques EE section seems to be working well after a few hiccups, I may not be able to afford everything that goes up there, but I still frequent the place and have learned alot about what's out there.

x2 - I didn't see any of that stuff until the new BP EE. It's a fun section to browse, even if everything in there costs more than most of my collection
