was sitting at work watching the grass grow (through the snow) and was thinking about different 'kinds' of guns.
scout gun.
bush gun.
thought stuck me that we should really make up a class of gun and call it 'A Canadian'.
so when we wonder into the LGS i can look at the guy behind the counter and say - hey im looking to pick up A Canadian for a hunt i have coming up.
or we can call it a Canadian Bush Gun.
or a Snowtown swamp stick.....
something.
then once we hammer out a name we are gonna need to set up the specifics for it.
so say it has be be a lever gun, has to be in 45-70 with a optic and a chin sling.
thats just an example.
anyways that was my thought for the day, thought id come in and offload it here and let everyone have a kick at it.
stainless lever in 45-70 with a 16" barrel.....
suggestions?
it should of course be something that is actually being used to good effect right now.
reading over that thread about the bush gun was what got me going on this.
maybe we should make it after the rangers new gun to conform with them?
a short 308 scout gun.
