We need to support Maxime Bernier

I'm still liking O'Toole as the best compromise between "good chance of getting elected" and "good chance of doing the right things if elected".

That's probably the most important thing. Whoever your first, second, and ... choices are, make sure O'Leary is not listed anywhere on your list. He's not a conservative, barely a Canadian, and just a plain offensive human being. He won't be doing anything good for Canada or for Conservatives.

I think arrogance is a prerequisite to the job. :rolleyes:
I'd settle with a pm with some fiscal grey matter between his ears that had some demonstrated performance behind him to be arrogant about.

Neither will most canadians:

1) not so great communication skills
2) libertarian views (canadians like their social safety net)

If you want to give the cpc the best chance of being the next government support o'leary.
O'Leary is the only leader that can defeat trudeau II.
He has the fiscal savvy to run the country.
Trudeau on the other hand is running it into the ground.
I think o'leary is neutral on firearms and under normal circumstances will leave us alone. In this
regard an o'leary cpc government would be preferable to what we have now.
In the event of a mass shooting like ecole polytechnic they will both throw us under the bus before you could say 'greyhound'.

Then you'll have to put up with trudeaus ass and by 2019 it will be very apparent that he and his party won't leave gun owners alone.
Disarmament of the civilian population is Liberal dogma and ideologically driven and one of the backbone precepts of their social engineering agenda.
I think most gun owners would prefer being ignored to being actively disarmed of their handguns, semis, lever and pump action firearms for no compensation.

who is willing to kill c-68 so I can get my uzi out of the safe a dn de-prohibit my m14s- I haven't seen anything from any of the candidates about being willing to modify the prohib list in any way-that's American m14, not the norinco
 
A vote for anybody but o'leary at the convention will help extend trudeaus lease on 24 sussex past 2019.
Any other of the current crop of cpc leadership candidates won't have a chance of beating the hairdo.
The sad and unfortunate truth.
