Hi all.

I'm a little disappointed that I can't find much on this topic, so I'm throwing it out there.

I'm looking for weapon light suggestions/options for my Mossberg 535 Tactical.

I'm not sure if the ATI Universal will work as I don't know if the forend is removable and don't want to waste money.https://www.gotenda.com/shop/uncategorised/ati-universal-tactical-shotgun-forend-picatinny-rails-polymer-black/

There's around an inch of clearance between the end of the forend and where the mag tube mates with the barrel.

Thanks in advance,

Picatinny rail on the forend or barrel clamp with a cheap weaver scope ring and a couple 1” mastercraft lights, have had them on shotguns for a couple years now and they’re still working fine. The only thing is they aren’t crazy bright, bright enough though. At some point this year I’m going to buy a couple Olight weapon lights to test out but for now I’m living the ghetto fabulous lifestyle lol.

535 has a pinned forearm, Youll need to get the long tube for the slide.. As I recall itll fit the bolt carrier with the action bars. 7-1/4" I think is the length... been a while..
The magpul sgs stock work no prob, I run one of these on my 535...Much better fit and better grip, definatly improved my trap game...
Overall there isnt much that will fit, as this a hunting/goose gun..

Update: I reached out to GG&G and they confirmed that what I have is the 500 style.

"Yours is a 500 style. A 590 has a cap ( think female threads on the cap, and male threads on the mag-tube ) that comes off and releases the magazine spring and follower.
A 500 like yours, the spring and follower are captured inside the tube."

Now I just need to figure out how to get one.

Wolverine carry GG&G stuff, if they don't have it , they can get it.

Hey, OP, I hope you found what you were looking for, knowing that this thread is a couple months old.

Given your case, my first suggestion would be to get some sort of attachment device.
Something that connects a flashlight to the barrel or the mag tube(e.g. Elzetta light mount).

My second suggestion is when such devices are unavailable/sold out(as they usually are).
Get a duct tape and a cardboard box. Use the cardboard as spacer and heat insulation, and tape a flashlight onto the mag tube(if no space, the barrel).
This method works universally on long guns and will work with any handheld flashlight you have.

Hope this helped.
