Hey guys,

I recently bought an H&R survivor in .223 I am trying to trick out for yote hunting... I know this isn't the hunting forum but am trying to find out if there are lights out there I can easily mount on my rifle and figured this would be the place to come for ideas....

I had a look at some pics of your rifle and there seems to be a shortage of good real estate to mount a light. First thing you need to do is mount a picatinny rail somewhere up front (2-3 inches of rail should do), then you have lots of light options. DS Tactical carries Surefire, Streamlight, and Fenix lights. They should also be able to help you with mounting options.

if its for night hunting primos makes several models that mount on top of scopes. 'fur harvesters trading post' in michigan lists them in their catalog. please read your game regs very carefully before hunting with a light, its illegal in most provinces other than for houndsmen or trappers.

I believe you are looking for the klarus dual Cree light. You will be able to easily shoot up to 200 yards using it.
