Just received my Weatherby 307 Alpine CT in 300 win mag.

Beyond pleased with my purchase.
Fit & finish is top notch.
Very Very accurate, sub MOA.

Was fingering one of these rifles recently. Oversized firing pin hole in the bolt face size kept me from buying it.

I looked up the issues on that, I usually shoot high end factory ammo..... This can happen on "hot" loads when reloading. Cross my fingers.

CCI magnum primers help to a degree. Thicker cups.
The new production Remington 700 in 7-08 beside in in the rack had the same issue, plus zero primary extraction. It’s a crap shoot with new rifles these days.

Been looking at this exact setup for a long range field rig last the few weeks and curious about it’s weight

Vortex, low rings 1.58 oz

Roughly @ 7.5 lbs
