Hey yall. I have recently bought a weatherby accumark in 30-378 and a mark 4 6x20 leupold scope. I have mounted the scope and it wont bore site. I have used leupold bore sighter and done it manually. I cant seem to get the crosshairs low enough. I have checked the rings (removed twice), the rings are for weatherby mark 5 dual dovetail. High rings. I cant think of anything eles. It looks like the back base needs to be shimed? Please help....I am lost.....

Are you sure the bases are for a Mark 5 and not a Vanguard? I ran across this a few times working in a firearms dept. Some of the bases were mislabeled IIRC. I would be putting Near stuff on that cannon
It says mark V on the package, 51706 is the bases skew number. 52360B is a number on the warning label for the screw lengths. How do I know if the bases are mislabeled. That would make the most sence. Because these bases are working, but not even close to the right height. The rear base has to come way up....or the front a lot lower
