Weatherby accumark reviews?

Mine shoots Awesome with Factory loaded 180gr. Ballistic Tips(30-378). So well in fact that I have not even bothered to do any load development yet.

From what I hear, enjoy not much over 2000 rounds of extremely high accuracy, high power, super hard hitting(on both ends), heavy, long range, earsplitting, blinding, .30cal awesome. You'll likely have to set the barrel back or get a new one after those rounds, but the caliber doesn't do well with anything shorter than a 26" tube. It shines with a 30" tube, pushing those .30 Cal 250gr bullets over 3000ft/s. Again, from what I hear, recoil is hard, barrel life is short, and everything about anything related to what you're doing and what you bought screams expensive.

If you bought an accumark from impulse, that last part doesn't sound like it troubles you too much. Have fun sending heavy dangerous game bullets at velocities that makes varminters cry.

Peformance has its price. 7 bucks a round to be exact. But thats the cost to own the BADDEST .30 on the shelf (save Lazzeroni). Consider that to wear out a factory barrel (assuming a life of 2000 rds.) would cost $14,000. I suspect most people's 30-378's will likely wear their original barrels for their owners lifetimes.

Its been a few years since I shot one, but it was accurate and flat shooting. Muzzle blast with the factory break was something to behold if you stood behind and beside the shooter, so we mostly shot with it removed. If you want a flat shooting .30, it qualifies.

Just curious did you by that at Italian sporting on Saturday.I saw some guy drooling on that gun.Very nice tried to talk my brother inlaw into that but he wants a .338.Enjoy i would.
