Hello.

I have just installed the DBM kit, it looks nice and saves 180 grams (85g vs OEM of 265g).

However, when I put 3 rounds in it, and then cycled them through, here is what happened:
first round perfect
second round almost perfect, doesn't feed as nice as the first one, but works fine
third round, bolt touches it, moves it about an inch, then lets go of it.
If I then hold the the bottom of the mag tightly in (removing the bit of play there) it sorta works but you have to cycle the bolt twice.

This is not acceptable so I want a remedy.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Weatherby was no help, they blamed the stock mfr (B&C), but it is the OEM stock!
Mag kit retailer offered to modify things n/c - nice offer but why does a 2011 NIB product need modifying???
Sold rifle (ate taxes), returned kit (ate shipping charge).
Had dreamed about this rifle...unlikely to look at that brand in the future.
Now have xbolt and it works as it should - not too much to ask for in my book.

Some times if it aint broke leave it alone otherwise fix it till it is broke ;)
There is nothing worse than something that is called "Drop In Replacement"
Yeah right I equate that with you need an Engineering Deg. from MIT.
anyways, the X-bolt will prolly do you better for most if not all hunting opportunities.
Tigh Groups,
Rob
