Looks like Weatherby might have a new action to unveil on May 31.

Very interesting.

With all the custom stuff on the market it will be interesting to see what they come out with an what the options are. I’m thinking it’s going to be a light weight option to match up with that RPM line up they are working on.

Either way looking forward to it.

Weatherby hasn’t done all of that since the 90’s.

They are due for a new action. I bet a 3 lug in different weights.

Absolutley nothing will impress me with newly innovated actions, barrels, rifles or cartridges. All of them have been accomplished in past history.

Builder actions right out of the gate is pretty neat. They look good at the price they are being listed at. Even that 307 Range rifle isn't terribly priced, probably competition for the Bergara B14 Wilderness Ridge.

I found a youtube video. It's a customizable 700 footprint. Meh, If I wanted a 700 action I'd go buy a Cadex Defense rifle.

This is true if you build a short action cartridge on a long action... my COAL for my 6.5 PRC 156 load is 3.07, a XM length would be perfect...3.95 is a little excessive maybe???
