I am wondering if someone can help me determine the value of a Weatherby Mark V that was in my uncles collection and is now in my possession. The gun is chambered in 300 magnum and was built in Japan in 1975. It has a Bushnell Scopechief IV 3x-9x scope with Buehler rings and bases. Gun has been hunted and shows the usual signs of wear.

If I had it for sale I would be asking 12 or 13 hundred and go from there.

Some lefty should want this rifle. It's still a potent hunting rifle.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I did look in the EE section but couldn't find a gun of the same vintage.

I'm right handed so I don't really have a a use for the gun. However I also don't want to give it away; it isn't hurting anything in the gun cabinet.
