I don't know if this is the propper place for this perticular question but is the Weatherby CFP restricted or non? Its OAL is 27.5 " but the barrel is 16". I am a little foggy with the the restricted rules for long arms.
I think at one time Weatherby had a shorter length advertised and that might be the hangup. I can't see the shoulder fired issue being the reason as a pistol grip shotgun can be pretty short. If it had a swing out stock it would be good.
